At Jennifer Gibson Jewellery, we scour the globe to find the very best costume jewellery pieces from the last 100 years. We excel in offering our clients a collection of jewellery that is unique and expertly curated for style, quality and craftsmanship. Many of our pieces are rare, original-signed fashion house and designer pieces, such as Dior, Boucher or Ciner and date back at least 50 years or more. So as well as offering our clients their own unique look in a world of mass production and throwaway fashion, our clients also get to own and preserve their very own wonderful piece of fashion history. How long has your business been running? Since 2016. We have over 35 years’ experience in antique and vintage jewellery and set up Jennifer Gibson Jewellery in 2016 to focus specifically on bringing a collection of high quality costume jewellery from the last 100 years to clients. Why are you exhibiting at the 2017 Bride: The Wedding Show at Tatton? Undoubtedly, our collection boasts incredible pieces of unique jewellery for brides, their wedding parties and guests too. There is a lot going on for the business right now – we are running our Valentine’s pieces, launching our spring collection online and featuring in Harper’s Bazaar March edition amongst other things. Quite enough you’d think, but we saw an exciting opportunity here to focus in and be able to bring our first and exclusive bridal range direct to customers through this exceptional event, The Wedding Show. Added to that, we are a local business and our family has a special history and affinity with Tatton so it is the perfect combination. It’s going to be a brilliant weekend. What advice would you give to a visitor on getting the best out of a wedding show? Prep before you come, make a list of your key items and the exhibitors that may be able to help you fulfil your dreams. Grab a glass of champagne (probably a pen and paper, too) and a very good friend and enjoy yourself as you meet the exhibitors and check out what they have to offer you.
