A beautiful 1966 Vintage Dior Pearl Brooch cleverly emulating the look of diamonds and pearls. The Austrian crystals in this piece are incredibly bright and catch the light perfectly and the whole glass faux pearls exude a wonderful luminescence owing to their quality. The crystals in this piece capture perfectly the attention to detail and craftsmanship that the House of Dior afforded all their products. Notably this delightful brooch features some very fancy cut crystals, most likely by Swarovski, including rare fancy kite prism crystal stones. All set in rhodium plated metal with a tiered setting to provide delightful depth to the brooch. This vintage Dior Brooch dates to 1966 with Mark Bohan as Head Designer for the House of Dior. Bohan succeeded Yves Saint Laurent - Christian Dior's successor following his untimely death in 1957. A fabulous piece of vintage Dior costume jewellery. This Vintage Dior Pearl Brooch measures approx. 3cm diameter and 2.5cm high. In very good vintage condition without damage or repair and clearly marked Dior with the date of 1966. A forever in style piece of Christian Dior Jewellery and French couture history. Divine!

Aftercare: Vintage jewellery is extremely delicate and requires special care and attention. Please be aware that vintage jewellery may contain lead or nickel. To preserve its beauty and condition, it is important to keep your item boxed and protected from other jewellery when not being worn and away from liquids including perfume and hairspray. Items are typically most suited to occasional rather than constant wear.
Your order will include our care card suggesting ways to maintain the condition of your jewellery.
We cannot be held liable for any damages incurred after the receipt of products.
Additional Care Tips:
Avoid contact with liquids or humidity including sprays such as water, perfume or hairspray and creams. Exposing jewellery to wet or damp could harm the metal and reduce the life of the plating, as well as cause discolouration and/or loss of stones. Remove jewellery before washing hands, swimming etc.
Store your jewellery in the original packaging or a soft pouch to avoid scratches.
Add your jewellery last when dressing and remove before undressing. Avoid sleeping in your jewellery.
Avoid hard contact (i.e. dropping or knocking against objects) that can cause scratches or chips.
We are always happy to advise on the care specifics of a particular piece you may be considering.
