A rare and spectacular Grossé Vintage Bangle dating to 1969. One of the best examples of Grossé jewellery produced by the Henkel & Grossé jewellery Company, Germany. Grossé are world class in their production of costume jewellery and in addition recognised for production of Christian Dior costume jewellery since the 1950s. Such was Monsieur Christian Dior’s confidence in the abilities of Henkel & Grossé, they not only manufactured but also designed Dior’s costume jewellery. This Grossé Vintage Bangle is encrusted with superior crystals and art glass cabochons brilliantly emulating fine gems in the style of Tanjore Jewels. The gold plated metal is phenominal quality boasting a thick luxurious high carat gold plating appearing as if it could last forever. The images for this supreme Grosse Vintage Bangle capture only part of it’s beauty and features. A famous Henkel & Grosse trait, the bangle is incredible quality. Henkel and Grosse produced some of the highest quality costume jewellery of the 20th Century for their own line Grosse and the House of Dior.
The interior of the bangle measures approx. 17 cm and it s approx. 3.5cm wide, closing with a strong sprung hinge and jewelled clasp. In very good vintage condition, this Grosse Vintage Bangle is remarkably as fresh as the day it was made and the cuff is clearly signed Grosse, dated 1969.

You’re welcome to return your order within 14 days. We’ll refund the full amount paid, including any duties and taxes we covered. Return shipping is at your cost.
To avoid fees on re-entry to the UK, please clearly mark your parcel and invoice as:

If not correctly marked and we are charged import duties, these will be deducted from your refund.

Vintage costume jewellery is delicate and requires special care and attention.
To preserve its continued beauty and condition, it is important to keep your item boxed and protected from other jewellery when not being worn and away from liquids including perfume and hairspray. Items are typically most suited to occasional rather than constant wear.
Your order will include our care card suggesting ways to maintain the condition of your jewellery.
We cannot be held liable for any damages incurred after the receipt of products.
Additional Care Tips:
Avoid contact with liquids or humidity including sprays such as water, perfume or hairspray and creams. Exposing jewellery to wet or damp could harm the metal and reduce the life of the plating, as well as cause discolouration and/or loss of stones. Remove jewellery before washing hands, swimming etc.
Store your jewellery in the original packaging or a soft pouch to avoid scratches.
Add your jewellery last when dressing and remove before undressing. Avoid sleeping in your jewellery.
Avoid hard contact (i.e. dropping or knocking against objects) that can cause scratches or chips.
