An ultra rare signed piece of mid 1940s ‘Eisenberg Original’ jewellery, set in an extremely heavy sterling solid silver mount with rhodium plate to avoid tarnishing and adorned with beautiful Austrian Swarovski crystals. Eisenberg were one of the most renowned costume jewellery companies during the 30s and 40s and the ‘Eisenberg Originals‘ their earliest jewellery range. This is a seriously beautiful piece made between 1943 and 1948, comprising very detailed silver work. This particular design is stunning and without doubt an iconic statement piece from the 1940s Hollywood Era. The brooch is set with a stunning array of high quality round and baguette cut Austrian crystal stones, in a variety of sizes leading to a subtle gradation of crystal stones around the edge of the brooch – a typical high level of attention to detail for an Eisenberg Original piece. Eisenberg Original pieces are adored not only for their design and size, also their crystals as they have a second to none cut, clarity and sparkle. The unequalled sparkle and clarity of ‘Eisenberg Original’ stones was due to the high lead content of the stones and this makes them especially spellbinding and sought after 70-80 years later. Eisenberg Original pieces are especially sought after and hard to find. Eisenberg Originals are a personal favourite of mine and there is no doubt, a piece is a beautiful and classic addition to a jewellery collection and a modern day wardrobe. In addition to the wearability and quality of this piece, it is without doubt a stunning and rare piece of fashion history. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition and is clearly signed Eisenberg Original and Sterling. These pieces really have to be seen and handled to be believed. The brooch measures approx. 6cm by 5.5cm and has at least a couple of centimetres depth. A simply adorable piece that would look incredible on so many pieces from a denim or leather jacket to a cocktail dress….demure chic or rock chick the choice is yours!

You’re welcome to return your order within 14 days. We’ll refund the full amount paid, including any duties and taxes we covered. Return shipping is at your cost.
To avoid fees on re-entry to the UK, please clearly mark your parcel and invoice as:
“Returned UK Goods – No Commercial Value”
If not correctly marked and we are charged import duties, these will be deducted from your refund.

Preparing Your Order

Vintage costume jewellery is delicate and requires special care and attention.
To preserve its continued beauty and condition, it is important to keep your item boxed and protected from other jewellery when not being worn and away from liquids including perfume and hairspray. Items are typically most suited to occasional rather than constant wear.
Your order will include our care card suggesting ways to maintain the condition of your jewellery.
We cannot be held liable for any damages incurred after the receipt of products.
Additional Care Tips:
Avoid contact with liquids or humidity including sprays such as water, perfume or hairspray and creams. Exposing jewellery to wet or damp could harm the metal and reduce the life of the plating, as well as cause discolouration and/or loss of stones. Remove jewellery before washing hands, swimming etc.
Store your jewellery in the original packaging or a soft pouch to avoid scratches.
Add your jewellery last when dressing and remove before undressing. Avoid sleeping in your jewellery.
Avoid hard contact (i.e. dropping or knocking against objects) that can cause scratches or chips.
