Hot Right Now – Rita Ora Steals the Show in JGJ Jewels

by | Dec 19, 2022

The sensational Rita Ora dazzled in JGJ jewels at two separate events – making the first weekend in December a truly memorable one for me. Two very different occasions, two fabulous outfits – both accessorised to perfection with JGJ jewels.

Stacked with style

On the Saturday night, Rita hit the town for Vas J Morgan’s 34th birthday party at Miro restaurant in Mayfair, wearing a playful, ankle-length nude, fishnet dress from English clothing brand, Cowboys of Habit, with JGJ jewels stacked front and centre. Go bold like Rita with a vintage Monet silver and amethyst bracelet from the 1970s on one arm, and a vintage 1990s Dior clear resin logo arc cuff emblazoned with super sparkly Swarovski crystals on the other. And then stack it up with a vintage Dior charm bracelet by Galliano featuring five retro style charms on a chunky figaro link chain and an iconic vintage Dior resin cuff embedded with Swarovski crystals. Finish off the look with a statement-making, matching Monet silver and amethyst necklace. It was so wonderfully refreshing to see Rita wearing pieces that she loved and finding a way to make them work in harmony together. A gorgeous example of the sublime Rita going her own way rather than following the crowd…and absolutely rocking the look!

Always in vogue

Sunday night saw Rita switching it up at British Vogue’s Forces for Change dinner, hosted by Edward Enninful and Vanessa Kingori at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square. She wowed the crowds in a stunning low-cut, blue silk gown from Italian label, Blumarine’s SS23 collection, beautifully accessorised with an eye-catching, vintage Aurora Borealis necklace suite from our one-of-a-kind collection. The 1950s set features a matching necklace, bracelet and earrings designed around a theme of filigree cones, claw set with vibrant rainbow crystals and looked incredible on Rita, who was channelling some serious silver screen vibes. What an absolute goddess! She added interest (and a designer name) with two vintage Chanel pieces – a solid sterling silver spell out cuff from the 1990s and an intricate ring, decorated with black enamel around the famous, interlocking C logo.

I loved that she wore such an eclectic blend of jewels across the two nights and wasn’t a slave to only (obvious) designer pieces. From mid-century glam, with the Aurora pastel shade parure looking exquisite next to the pale blue, silk dress, to unmistakeable 21st century Dior and Chanel pieces against the gorgeously edgy, hooded dress, this is true testament to Rita’s unique style. Not just hot right now, Rita demonstrated beautifully how combining distinctive style with decades of timeless jewels, curated piece by piece with an expert eye, is always a winning look. Thank you, Rita for choosing such divine jewels from our collection and for styling them so brilliantly. To say I’m thrilled, doesn’t even come close.
In an email, Rita’s stylist told me how much she LOVED the jewels, proving that she’s someone who always wears from the heart. Amen to that.

Whether you’re like Rita and know exactly what look you’re going for, or you could use some advice about styling up your special outfit with some forever classics, please get in touch – there’s nothing I’d love more.
